Volunteers are the heart of Home-Start and we are commited to supporting and training our volunteers so they are skilled to offer regular support, friendship and practical help to young families. Active Communities — Our volunteers really are the backbone of everything we do. Without them, Active Communities couldn’t exist. You can do your part in being there for the local community in Renfrewshire by getting involved in a whole variety of different ways. Become a Community Health Champion, Youth Worker Volunteer, a Phone Buddie, or a volunteer at The Pantry. Or maybe you’d like to volunteer at Station Seven, supporting the day-to-day running of the hub by lending a hand on reception, helping with admin, setting up rooms or doing some DIY.
