Do you need some help to improve your child’s mental health & wellbeing?
Ren10 works with Renfrewshire’s Whole Family Wellbeing Community Team who are here to offer support with a wide range of issues which may be affecting you or your family’s wellbeing. Being a parent or carer can be difficult at times. We work in partnership with Home Start, The Star Project, Active Communities, Impact Arts and Klas Care with many more coming on board this month. Our aim is to listen to you and offer help to avoid things becoming more challenging. We have a team with a wide range of skills who can offer evidenced based support with the challenges of the responsibilities of being a parent including worries about changes of circumstances for you and your children, bereavement and loss, emotional and mental health difficulties, financial stress and many other aspects of family life. We will offer a timely response without judgement. This support will be offered when and where you need it and for as long as you need it. Please feel free to get in touch and ask for help.

NVR Renfrewshire
What is it?
NVR is a relationship-based approach with an emphasis on
connection, repair, adult’s presence and responding to children and
young peoples distressed and distressing behaviour. The 8-week parent group programme consists of weekly sessions facilitated by qualified NVR practitioners with experience supporting children, young people & their families.
The NVR approach was developed to address distressed and distressing behaviour in children and young people, and it has been successful in the fields of foster and kinship care, adoption, self-harm, anxiety, avoidance and in supporting neurodevelopmental needs.
NVR groups guarantee a compassionate and understanding approach to the challenges you may be facing.
Parents who have completed NVR programmes have reported better relationships and increased confidence in supporting their child’s emotions and behaviour.
